The Flood
Watershed's first tour was this extraordinary play by Charles Way about a mother who has been dreaming that the world is going to be destroyed by a flood. When the play begins it has been raining for a week non-stop. Her dream comes true and she and her husband take their ten year-old daughter and their 7 year-old son and escape on a boat - a modern Noah story.
Commissioned by Chris Wallis when he was Artistic Director of The Unicorn Theatre for Children, The Flood has subsequently been performed by theatre companies all over the world.
